A Way Out Sober Living is a therapeutic community. We encourage regular and active attendance in a 12 step program, maintain a high level of accountability among our peer network, and provide a supportive environment for men and women who are committed to living healthy, clean and sober. "Recovery is a Way of Life - it's about Living in the Solution, and Not the Problem"
derrick@awayoutsoberliving.com
"Recovery is a journey...Not a destination."

A Way Out Sober Living was founded and built by Derrick Haase, a business owner, entrepreneur, and man in recovery. A Way Out Sober Living is a collection of 14 houses with over 140 beds located throughout the greater Twin Cities area. Derrick and his team are all on the journey of recovery, and are dedicated, and committed, to investing in their recovery and others. He knows from personal experience that having purpose-driven lives and a healthy, safe and caring community are key to building a new life and good character. Our houses are part of our purpose and our way to give back. Our goal is your success.
"I truly appreciate the level of transparency and self-awareness your organization upholds—it’s clear that these values are deeply embedded in how you operate."
- Mikki

Derrick H. and the residents of our sober houses know that recovery is a lifestyle, and requires work, commitment, and support from a network of like-minded men and women. We work together to help everyone in our community grow and thrive. We believe in a high level of accountability. We are nothing short of a "brother and sisterhood." We truly care for one another; it's built into our culture.

"A Way Out Sober Living was a great experience for me. It was a great way to transition into my next chapter of recovery. I would definitely recommend AWOSL to others"
Cody E.
